Bobby Baun, best known as a Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman, became a legend when he scored the game winning overtime goal in game 6 of the 1964 Stanley Cup finals. After breaking his foot blocking a shot, Baun left the game midway through the 3rd period, only to come back in overtime to score the winning goal. The Maple Leafs won the cup 2 days later.
