Brian Leetch, was drafted 9th overall by the New York Rangers in 1986. Leetch is considered an offensive defenseman that can confidently quarterback any powerplay. He won the NHL rookie of the year award in 1989, the Norris Trophy in 1992 and 97 and was awarded the 1994 playoff MVP helping lead the New York Rangers to their first Stanley Cup in 54 years.
