Eddie Shack, originally working as a butcher started playing hockey with the Guelph Biltmores in 1952. He eventually played his first NHL game with the New York Rangers in 1958. Shack spent the best years of his career with the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he won 4 Stanley Cups including scoring a cup winning goal.
