Eric Lindros, was drafted 1st overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1991 NHL entry draft. His size, speed, strength and offensive talents made him the obvious number one draft choice. Lindros won the Hart Trophy in 1995 awarded to the league MVP. He also captained team Canada in the 1998 Olympics in a losing effort, but later won a gold medal in the 2002 Olympics.
