Jean Beliveau, won 10 Stanley Cup championships as a member of the Montreal Canadiens. In 1953 he signed a 5 year contract with the Canadiens for the sum of $100,000 which was unheard of at the time. Beliveau was a strong skater that seemed impossible to stop and is also regarded as one of the all time classiest players in NHL history.
