Marcel Dionne, was drafted 2nd overall, behind Guy Lafleur, by the Detroit Red Wings in 1971. As one of the most productive offensive players to ever play, Dionne is arguably the most under rated player in NHL history. This is partly due to the fact most of his career was played in L.A, a city where hockey was never a top sport. Dionne would have seven 100 point seasons, 2 time Lady Byng winner and won the Art Ross trophy in 1980 after tying Wayne Gretzky with 137 points, but edged him out in goals.
