Marian Hossa, was drafted 12th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 1997. Hossa quickly became a major contributor to the new expansion Senators. During the 99-00 season Hossa tied for the team lead scoring 29 goals. Since then he has gone on to score four 30 goal seasons and three 40 goal seasons. Hossa also suits up for his native Slovakia during international competitions.
