Mike Bossy, was drafted by the New York Islanders 15th in 1977. He set an NHL record at the time for most goals by a rookie (53). He finished his career with more goals then assists, something that isn't very common. In 1981, Bossy matched a record that seemed impossible to match. He scored 50 goals in 50 games something that at the time was only done once 36 years ago by Maurice Richard. Bossy has scored more 50 goal seasons then anybody in NHL history score 50 in all but 1 of his 10 seasons.
