Ted Lindsay, nicknamed "Terrible Ted" was a fierce competitor and no stranger to the penalty box. At only 5'8 and 160 pounds, Lindsay was a terror with the puck, playing a rough, mean, intimidating style of hockey. He was also gifted offensively playing on the Detroit Red Wings "Production Line" with Gordie Howe. Lindsay set records as a left winger and lead the league in scoring in 1950. He won 4 cups and organized the start of the NHL Player Association, a union dedicated to players rights.
