Tim Horton, played 23 seasons in the NHL, 18 of them were with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Known for his heavy slap shot, he was one of the strongest players in the league. He helped lead Toronto to 4 Stanley Cups. For the first 12 years with the Maple Leafs he played as a rock solid defenseman. In 1965 he turned into a successful forward for the Leafs. Off the ice, Tim Horton decided to open a chain of donut shops. Today there are Tim Horton locations all over Canada.
