| Scott Stevens, was drafted 5th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Growing up his hero was Toronto Maple Leafs Defenseman Borje Salming. Stevens is known for his solid defense and thunderous body checks which leaves opposition players motionless on the ice. He has won 3 cups with the New Jersey Devils captaining all 3 teams and was awarded the Conn Smyth Trophy in 2001. |
