Catching up with Alek Manoah Part I - May 2023

Earlier this week we had the privilege to catch up with Frameworth Exclusive, Alek Manoah. Given that Mother's Day just passed and the fact that his Mom, Susana, threw the opening ceremonial pitch for the Jays on Sunday, we had to ask Manoah how that all went down.

In preparation for his Mom's opening ceremonial pitch, Manoah joked that he showed her the videos of Steve Aoki's and 50 Cent's pitches as an example of what NOT to do.

Then following the Jays 6-5 win over the Braves, Manoah and his Mom grabbed dinner together. In the end, we all saw that Susana nailed her Mother's Day opening ceremonial pitch, leaving Alek grinning ear-to-ear and all Mom’s watching in their feels. 

We LOVE moments like this in sports because it’s a friendly reminder that professional athletes, just like us, have family that they love unconditionally and are people with emotions, too. Alek is not just a phenomenal pitcher - he is changing the industry as we know it by allowing his beautiful personality shine!
